Our Current Project
Silver Beach Playground Improvements- St. Joseph, MI
Exciting things are happening at Silver Beach! BG Construction and Engineering is serving as the lead contractor for the Silver Beach Playground Improvements, working in partnership with Sinclair Recreation to bring a brand-new playground to one of Southwest Michigan’s most iconic public spaces.
Our team is handling site preparation, grading, drainage installation, and all concrete flatwork for sidewalks, play areas, and seating zones. Sinclair Recreation is leading the installation of new, inclusive playground equipment designed for children of all ages. The project is on track for completion by Memorial Day, just in time for the start of summer. We’re proud to help create a safe, welcoming space for families and visitors to enjoy for years to come.

We are excited to share progress on our summer-long project, the Berrien Springs Ball Fields. Our team is dedicated to transforming this space, and we’ve made significant strides. Below are some pictures showcasing our work.
The masons are diligently constructing the dugouts, the fence company is installing posts, and we are preparing for the concrete pour on the maintenance building. Additionally, we’ve completed the installation of the concrete and trench drain.

Tennis Courts
What a difference a year can make! These are before and after pictures of the Bridgman Public Schools Tennis Court Replacement that our previous company, Green Construction and Engineering completed. We enjoyed working with Bridgman Public Schools and Wightman to complete this impactful project!
Rangeline Park Trailhead
Happy 4th of July! We have had a busy first half of the year and look forward to finishing strong! Below are some progress photos of the Rangeline Park Trailhead Project in Berrien Township.
So far we have installed the:
Restroom Facility foundation and floor
Septic Tank and Drain Field
Wooden Overlook Structure
And other miscellaneous work
Freezer and Shot Put Pit
This past year, our previous company, Green Construction and Engineering, had the opportunity to complete two projects for Brandywine Community Schools! We installed a walk in freezer and updated the shot put pit. These were our first projects with Brandywine Schools and we hope to continue to work together in the future! Before and after pictures of both projects are below.
Courtyard
Bridgman Public Schools hired us for some concrete improvements this year. One part of this project included pouring in the Courtyard at the middle school. This required a large amount of labor to wheelbarrow out unsuitable subgrade material, then a concrete pump truck was used to pour the Courtyard. The school is planning to add tables to finish off the Courtyard. It was a great project, and we appreciate the opportunity!
